Former Birmingham City striker Jack Storer has taken to social media as he looks to find a new club ahead of the summer and the 2024-25 pre-season. Striker Storer, who is a Brummie, returned to the Second City in 2016, having initially broken through at Stevenage, for a five-figure fee while Gary Rowett was enjoying his first stint as boss.

Storer, then a teenager, signed a two-year deal after a fruitful pre-season in which he scored four goals in first-team friendlies. He made his league debut in a draw with Cardiff City and earned his only senior start in the EFL Cup meeting with Oxford United, when he got the nod alongside the likes of Viv Solomon-Otabor and Josh Dacres-Cogley.

The forward was sent off in a defeat to Wolves having come off the bench and would, months later, embark on a series of loan spells away from St Andrew's; Storer spent time at Yeovil Town, Gloucester City and Solihull Moors, before he earned himself a permanent move to Partick Thistle in Scotland's second tier in 2018, having left Blues.

He then was granted the chance to branch out and move to Gibraltar, where he enjoyed a pretty fruitful spell while leading the line for FC Bruno's Magpies - during which time he played in the Europa Conference League. That stint on the continent was sandwiched by spells with non-league Stratford Town, but now Storer - who is still only 26 - is looking for his next challenge.

"FREE AGENT," he posted. "Looking for a new club for the upcoming season, if there is any opportunities out there ABROAD or ANYWHERE then please direct message me. Been a difficult season for myself, have kind of fell out of love with the game and looking to enjoy my football again. Thank you."

Storer has published his CV, which lists his former clubs, his goal tallies and his strengths and attributes. His client profile reads: "A player with an unparalleled blend of technical skill, vision, and intelligence on the field.

"Possesses a rare gift - an innate ability to use both feet with equal proficiency, confounding defenders with his unpredictable style of play. His ambidexterity allows him to effortlessly weave through opposition defences, creating scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates."
